Online event. April 16

The sixth zoom meeting of Jewish Italy Around the World will be held on zoom on Thursday, April 16 at 6:30 (CET) and it will be dedicated to the presentation 0f The Jewish Museum of Greece (JMG).

This lecture will present a rare illuminated manuscript from Venice part of the JMG Historical Collection acquired in 1994. The manuscript, dated 1642-1724, besides its historical value on the attitude of Venetian Authorities towards the petition of the Jewish Community of Corfu for protection against vandalisms, holds a very interesting artistic allure.
