Join us for a captivating virtual experience with Sharon Reichel, co-curator alongside Valeria Rainoldi of the exhibition “An Italian Journey. Discovering the Jewish Cultural Heritage ”.
Through a remarkable collection of historical photographs, she will guide you on an immersive tour of Jewish quarters, synagogues, and cemeteries in cities such as Venice, Rome, Florence, Padua, and Mantua.
These evocative images come from two extraordinary photographic collections of great cultural and historical significance: the Hungarian Ernő Munkácsi collection, featuring images of Jewish life in Italy captured between 1927 and 1940, and the archive of F.A.C.E. – the Federation of Jewish Cultural Associations – created in the 1920s and 1930s.
